We went to Las Vegas over the weekend to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. It was so nice to get away and relax! We stayed at the Treasure Island where we got a great rate thanks to Brad and Netta. We had such a fun time walking the streets, looking at the shops, eating great food and spending time with each other. My old roommate Stephanie lives in Vegas with her husband Ryan and their incredibly adorable son Connor so we even had a chance to visit with them. We had a great one year anniversary!

The best year of our lives...

I know it sounds cheesy but we have to admit it...this past year, the first year of our marriage, has been the best year of our lives. There have been so many ups and downs and we really can't believe it has been a whole year. Here is a VERY summarized recap of the last year...We got married November 9, 2007 and moved to Fullerton on January 15, 2008 where we have now experienced a new apartment, new jobs, going to school again, making new friends, a new ward, being away from family, a new city and a new marriage. Through every change we have had the blessing of being able to lean and depend on each other as we are now a partnership in everything we do. We are so grateful that we have made it this far and are so blessed to have each other. We are so excited to see what the rest of our lives will bring us!
